Liquid Transfer Group came in to remedy past errors after a previous EPC contractor stalled out and defaulted on the faltering project.

Design, engineering, and fabrication were expedited so that this Wyoming fractionating facility could improve the production of refined products in the form of gas, diesel, butane, and isobutane. The 8-spot loading system receives feedstock from nearby wells and the refined product is then loaded into railcars using our innovative and efficient systems.

The design included an instrument air building, track mobile building, security fencing, an asphalt access road, 4200 linear feet of ladder track, civil development, and LPG fuel line flare system. The project was completed successfully ahead of schedule in spite of the previous EPC’s delays. After installation, the customer is now able to process up to 50,000 barrels of raw material per day to supply surrounding states.

  • 4200 linear ft of new rail construction on customer owned spur
  • Perform all grubbing of organic soils, excavating down 6’
  • Install compactible materials for sub-grade
  • Install road base prior to rail installation
  • Install foundations, structural steel, and mechanical components
  • Design/Construct four process lines including subterranean trunks (duct bank)
  • Install LPG, Butane, #1 gasoline, and diesel loading arms
  • Install vapor recovery hoses and API couplings
  • Install electrical system including duct banks
  • Install instrumentation
  • Install owner supplied compressor and vessel
  • Install owner supplied Knockout tank, Yokogawa flare, and propane fuel line
  • Install track mobile building and instrument air supply building
  • Install track pans, drainage system, and geomembrane lined spill containment pond
  • Commissioning and startup assistance
