Metering and Blending Systems
Today’s market calls for more recipes, in smaller quantities, on very short notice. These demands result in the need to add to the range of standard products, while still maintaining minimum inventory and operating costs, and a “just in time” manufacturing philosophy. Additionally, more stringent performance specs increase the need for accountability. These challenges are best met by employing our blending systems.
Meters and Valves
Liquid ultrasonic flow meters (LUFMs) continue to gain popularity in petroleum measurement with the promise of high accuracy and low maintenance. These are favorable features, but because of the high volume and value of petroleum products, buyers and sellers must have a high level of confidence in the accuracy of measurement. This assurance in custody transfer measurement is gained by adherence to the standards, procedures and methods that define the measurement process.
Grounding Systems
The 8130 Series Optic monitor is compatible with up to eight optic-level sensors or onboard monitors to monitor the status of liquid within a tank. The 8130 provides automatic warning of product overflow at predetermined levels. The system uses the standard optic signal format to communicate with an onboard control monitor or straight optic system. The system also includes ground verification. Contact us today for more info
The 8460 Opti-Therm Overfill Detection System recognizes the signal technology on the transport, verifies grounding, and communicates with the terminal automation system (T.A.S). The 8460SRC is a direct replacement chassis upgrading other systems with simple drop-in technology. Contact us today for more info
Cane probes are used to provide overall detection where a permanent sensor cannot be properly affixed to a tank or railcar. They provide a portable, flexible solution to meet a variety of overfill requirements for safe top loading. Cane probes utilize modern, instant-on optic principles. Adjusting the sensor position in the tank easily sets the sensing point. This is accomplished with a large adjustment knob on the cane probe clamp. Contact us today for more info
